Biography

Stanley Rosenthal, M.F.A., Wayne State University, Professor of Printmaking, Graduate Officer for the Department of Art and Art History. Professor Rosenthal has won numerous regional and national awards as both a printmaker and a painter. These include the national prize in Watercolor, USA (1991), the Jurors Award of Merit (1997), and an exhibitor of the Michigan Watercolors 50th Exhibition at the Detroit Institute of Arts. He is active as both a juror and lecturer and has work in numerous public and private collections. Currently he is chairperson of the Michigan Water Color Society. Previously he served as an advisor to the Graphic Art Council of the Detroit Institute of Arts and is a past-president of the Michigan Association of Printmakers.
