Artistic interaction: Muskegon Museum of Art's summer exhibit allows viewers reaction, interaction
By K.D. Norris
Interactive multi-media artists Annica Cuppetelli and Cristobal Mendoza, an assistant professor at Wayne State University, have created a custom installation, "Interference Pool," for Muskegon Museum of Art this summer. The exhibit opened in late May and runs through Aug. 3. In the exhibit, Cuppetelli and Mendoza "combine fibers and digital images to create an interactive environment that challenges notions of space, light, and materiality," according to museum materials.
