Honors Option for students majoring in Art (BA or BFA)

15 credits total:

Select the Honors Option in two of the following courses (6 credits--depending on area of concentration):

  • AFA 2410, Textiles I
  • AFA 2420, Fashion Design Basic Construction
  • AFA3400, Clothing and Culture
  • AFI 2650, Beginning Weaving
  • AFI 2660, Fabric Printing and Dyeing
  • AGD 2250, Typography
  • AGD 3250, Graphic Design I
  • AIA 3610, Interior Design Studio II
  • AME 3600, Intermediate Jewelry I
  • AME 3601, Intermediate Jewelry II
  • APA 2100, Basic Painting
  • APA 2120, Beginning Painting
  • APA 3120, Intermediate Painting
  • APH 2400, Introduction to Photography
  • APR 2300, Introduction to Printmaking
  • ASL 2150, Beginning Sculpture
  • ASL 3150, Intermediate Sculpture

In addition to above, the following three courses are required (9 credits):

  • Honors Option in an advanced studio elective (3 credits)
  • ACS 5996, Honors Project (3 credits)
  • One Honors Seminar from among HON 4200 through 4280 (3 credits)
